Lorenzo Calogero received the B.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in Electronics Engineering and the M.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in Mechatronics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2020 and 2022, respectively. He is a former member of the honor societies “Giovani Talenti” of Politecnico di Torino and “Alta Scuola Politecnica” of Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. His research interests include model predictive control, nonlinear systems, optimization, Koopman operator, machine learning, and quantum computing, with applications in the fields of automotive, energy management, and autonomous flight.
